The Starfish Dangle Earrings are made from the molding and casting of a real found Sea Star in recycled silver. I found the original preserved specimen, dried up on a beach in Stone Harbor, New Jersey and then I sent it to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal. Once the castings are returned, I solder on jump rings and attach sterling french hooks.
The earrings are a great size to make a statement at 1.5" long and 1.25" wide including hook. I shaped the legs of each star so they are mismatched to appear to be dancing as they hang.
