  • This is a beautiful bar necklace with a twist: a sterling silver sprig cast from a Douglas fir tree. It’s a versatile piece—lightweight, comfortable, and flattering. This necklace is a great one for layering. Douglas fir trees are everywhere in the Pacific Northwest. On the coast, they commonly live at least 500 years. I found this sprig without needles and loved its knobby texture.
