What makes your art unique?

Utensil art is not a new thing or only my thing. It's been done for a long time but I feel I took my art to a new level when I decided there was no limit on what I was going to make with them. I make home decor, wind chimes, jewelry, yard art and a variety of fun figures. It all started with the idea of wind chimes and it snowballed into a huge collection with a wide variety of items.

Why is sustainability important to your art?

I love being able to create with utensils. There are so many sitting on shelves unwanted and unused. They make beautiful art and can make someone smile when otherwise gone to waste.

What do you do to give back?

Yearly I raise money, through a raffle, for a local animal rescue, One Life at a Time Animal Rescue.

What do you hope your art inspires in others?

Finding a new use for items on hand. Create something new with something old and unwanted.
