What makes your art unique?

As a trained dancer and choreographer, I think of all of my art through a choreographic lens. In any process, whether cyanotype, painting, or movement, I think of my materials as collaborators, and I create each piece like a dance.

Why is sustainability important to your art?

Our Mother Earth is precious - and we need to do all we can in big and small ways to protect her. The cyanotype process is one of the most sustainable photographic processes because the chemicals we use are water soluble and eco-friendly.

What do you do to give back?

In my workshops, I stress the importance of caring for our earth, listening to the plants around us, and being respectful of nature.

What do you hope your art inspires in others?

I hope that my work gives others the permission to experiment and play - and to become curious about honoring the process.
