Sunday August 7th
Taught by Emie Hughes of Blue Jar Studio
developed in the 1800's as a way to create copies using UV rays from the sun. This
is where the blueprint gets its name! In this workshop, you will learn the history of the
form, the process, and use botanical materials to create stunning Prussian Blue artworks of your own.
Emie is a mixed-media artist, choreographer, and educator. She has always been an artist, dancing and making things since the time she could walk. Trained as a modern dancer, Emie graduated with a B.A. in Dance/Theatre Arts from Dickinson College, where she won the Emil R. and Tamar Weiss Prize in Creative Arts.
